Udaipur, On the eve of Independence Day, Suro Ki Mandali Udaipur Senior Group organised “Ek Shaam Shaheedon Ke Naam” at the Madhushree Auditorium of Ashoka Palace. Founder Mukesh Madhwani informed that 25 patriotic songs were presented during the event.
IAS Priyavrat Pandya attended as Chief Guest, while The Times of India’s Senior Journalist Claude D’Souza and anchor Shivani Shireen were present as Special Guests.
Among the notable performances were Chhodo Kal Ki Baatein by Priyavrat Pandya, Sandese Aate Hain by Mukesh Madhwani, O Desh Mere by Claude D’Souza, Mere Amar Shaheedon by Shivani Shireen, Zindagi Ki Na Toote Ladi by Queena Mary, Kar Chale Hum Fida by Vimal Sharma, and several other patriotic renditions by H. Qazi, Hema Joshi, Ambalal Sahu, Nutan Vedi, Ramesh Dattwani, C.P. Jain, Sachin Meghani, Varsha Mehta, Sandeep Bansal, Raj Kumar Bapna, Ashok Kumar Joshi, Manohar Lal Mukhiya, L.K. Jain, Narayan Salvi, Prahlad Balchandani, Ashok Pariyani, S.K. Mehta, and Om Prakash Gaur.
A patriotic attire competition was also held, in which Nutan Vedi secured the first position, Vimal Sharma the second, and Sachin Meghani the third.
