Ajmer/ Jaipur,  Vidhan Sabha Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that Operation Sindoor is the saga of the valor of the Indian Army. Every Indian is proud of it. The young generation of the country should learn and take inspiration from its history. The partition of India is such a pain that the country will never be able to forget. Crores of people had to bear its pain.

 

Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer celebrated the Partition Horrors Memorial Day of India on August 14 as a pledge of national unity. This program was organized under the joint aegis of the Sindhu Shodh Peeth of the University and the Indian Army. On this occasion, the Chief Guest, Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani, described the partition as a painful and sensitive chapter in the history of the Indian subcontinent and welcomed the decision of the Prime Minister to celebrate the Partition Horrors Day. He said that these memories inspire future generations to remain vigilant and united. He called upon the students to use the products manufactured in the country, trust the army and leadership and to be determined to stand against any force that divides the society.

 

University Vice Chancellor Prof. Suresh Kumar Agarwal said that partition was not just a geographical division, but it was a deep cultural and mental shock. He said that there is a need for correct, accurate and realistic portrayal of this partition in history and literature so that patriotism is promoted in the young generation without any confusion and animosity. He suggested removing those works from the syllabus which present facts in a distorted manner. He presented Operation Sindoor as a symbol of the bravery, strategic skills and “zero tolerance” policy of the Indian Army towards terrorism. On this occasion, emphasis was laid on learning techno-nationalism and economic patriotism, in which special attention was given to adopting and promoting indigenous products and technology. For this, the establishment of Swadeshi Consortium in the university was also announced, whose objective would be to promote and disseminate indigenous innovations.
