Under the aegis of the Red Ribbon Club, a grand Har Ghar Tiranga march was organised at Mohanlal Sukhadia University to strengthen the spirit of patriotism and social harmony. The prestigious event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Vice Chancellor Prof. Sunita Mishra, Registrar Dr. V.C. Garg, Finance Controller Mrs. Poonam Mehta, Controller of Examinations Dr. P.S. Rajput, along with deans of various colleges, officers, faculty members, staff, and students.
The march commenced from the Administrative Building, passing through the Arts College and Constitution Park, and concluded back at the administrative premises. Throughout the route, participants waved the Indian Tricolour with pride, raising patriotic slogans and spreading powerful messages such as "Ek Bharat – Shreshtha Bharat", "Unity in Diversity", and "Har Ghar Tiranga".
Addressing the gathering, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sunita Mishra said that the tricolour is not merely a flag but a priceless heritage symbolising the nation’s unity, courage, and sacrifice. She urged the youth to play a significant role in nation-building and to launch strong awareness campaigns against social evils.
Red Ribbon Club Convener Dr. P.S. Rajput stated that, under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative of the Government of India, the march aimed to awaken national consciousness among youth, encourage them to adopt a healthy lifestyle, and foster a spirit of service towards the nation. He emphasised that such initiatives energise students and make them aware of their social responsibilities, paving the way for positive societal change.
A major highlight of the event was the 108-foot-high monumental tricolour installed on the university campus, which became the centre of attraction. Participants gathered before it to reaffirm their unwavering commitment to the nation.
The march saw the presence of Dean of Arts College Prof. Madan Singh Rathore, Faculty of Management Studies Prof. Meera Mathur, Prof. Hanuman Prasad, Prof. Digvijay Bhatnagar, Dr. Meenakshi Jain, Dr. Naveen Nandwana, Dr. Ashish Sisodia, Dr. Kunjann Acharya, Dr. Tikam Chand Dhakal, Dr. Raju Singh, Dr. Rajkumari Ahir, Dr. Dolly Mogra, along with faculty from various departments, research scholars, and a large number of students.
