One such initiative is the Diploma in Acupressure Reflexology offered by the Department of Sanskrit at Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth Deemed University. Launched nearly three years ago at Shramjeev Mahavidyalaya, this course is designed to train students in the ancient healing technique of acupressure therapy, paving the way toward self-employment. The third batch has successfully completed training this year.
Any student who has passed Class 12 can enroll in this one-year diploma course and learn the healing techniques of acupressure, thereby increasing their income potential. According to Course Coordinator Narayan Singh Rao, acupressure reflexology is easy to learn and can benefit people from all walks of life.
In addition to the acupressure course, the college is also launching a new course focusing on Heartfulness Meditation and Mental Health. This course aims to teach students the art of balanced living and mental well-being. According to Dr. Rakesh Dashora, Center Coordinator and Course Advisor from the Heartfulness Institute, the models developed through heart-based wisdom not only prepare students for inner balance but also enhance career readiness.
Dean Dr. Maliya Malay Paneri emphasized the importance of both programs and urged students to apply. Admissions for both courses are open until August 20, and interested candidates can obtain detailed information by visiting the Sanskrit Department on any working day.
