###20th Grand Kawad Yatra on 29 July

udaipur,  The Shiv Mahotsav Committee has announced the grand 20th Kawad Yatra to be held on 29 July, covering a 21-kilometer stretch from Gangu Kund to Ubheshwar Mahadev. To encourage mass participation, a seven-day celebration was launched on Tuesday with the unveiling of the event poster at the Ganga's fourth source, Gangu Kund premises.

Advocate Ramkripa Sharma, the coordinator of the seven-day ceremony, stated that posters will be displayed across Udaipur city and nearby villages like Dhar, Varda, Rampura, Gorela, Kundal, and Morwania around Ubheshwar Mahadev. Teams of five volunteers each have been formed at urban and rural levels to distribute the ceremony leaflets.

Sharma informed that after the ritual bathing of Kawadiyas, Lord Mahadev will be anointed with holy water collected from five sacred rivers, including the Ganga.

Present on the occasion were Committee President Yagya Narayan Sharma, Ramkripa Sharma, social worker Vardichand Chaudhary, former councilor Manohar Chaudhary, Mahesh Bhawsar, Kamalendra Singh Panwar, Narendra Paliwal, Suresh Rawat, Ramesh Teli, Krishnakant Kumawat, Anandi Lal Chitoda, Naveen Vyas, Bhagirath Singh, Shivshankar Nagda, Kamlesh Sharma, Yashwant Chaudhary, Omkar Sharma, Jitendra Sharma, Shankar Maratha, Suresh Chaplot, Santosh Sharma, and several volunteers.
