District Collector Arvind Poswal conducted an extensive meeting with all the Sub-Divisional Officers and Tehsildars of Udaipur district at the Collectorate Conference Hall. During the meeting, he emphasized the crucial role of Sub-Divisional Officers and Tehsildars as the face of the government and administration at the local level. He stressed the importance of their responsibility in matters related to public interest and law and order, warning that any laxity would not be tolerated.
Collector Poswal highlighted the significance of quick response in resolving issues and maintaining public satisfaction. He urged officers to promptly attend to incidents and ensure effective communication at the district level. He specifically instructed them to prepare for the upcoming Moharram festival and other festivals to ensure law and order arrangements.
The District Collector also emphasized the need for continuous monitoring and timely reporting of priority works, including flagship schemes of the State Government. He reviewed preparations for the Rajiv Gandhi Rural and Urban Olympics and provided guidelines on the Indira Gandhi Smart Phone Yojana and Annapurna Food Packet Yojana.
Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Saloni Khemka informed Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers about the requirements for the upcoming assembly elections, including guidelines from the Election Commission regarding voter awareness activities.
Collector Poswal urged all officers to be sensitive to public problems, advising them to interact closely with the general public and provide as much relief as possible by addressing their issues. Even if some problems couldn't be resolved immediately, he stressed the importance of ensuring complainants receive a satisfactory response. He also strictly instructed that officers should not leave their headquarters without proper notice or permission.

During the meeting, all Sub-Divisional Officers presented detailed information about their respective areas, including geographical, social, and economic activities, ongoing development projects, law and order concerns, and pending problems. The District Collector provided necessary directions to address the pending issues.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Collector OP Bunkar, SDMs Girva, Lasadia, Kherwada, Jhadol, Gogunda, Nayagaon, Rishabhdev, Bhinder, and Badgaon, along with all Tehsildars.
