Quality Circle Convention Concludes in Udaipur with the Theme “Self-Reliant Developed India”

Udaipur. The Rajsamand Chapter of the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) successfully organized its two-day 24th Chapter Convention at the Udaipur Chamber of Commerce auditorium under the theme “Self-Reliant Developed India.” The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 372 delegates representing 103 teams from 17 reputed institutions across the country, who showcased their outstanding efforts in industrial quality improvement and innovation.

Focus on Quality Culture and Continuous Improvement

The objective of the convention was to promote a culture of quality in industry, inspire employees towards continuous improvement, and highlight the practical application of tools such as Quality Circles, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 5-S, and Safety Circles. Teams presented their case studies demonstrating how small improvements can lead to significant outcomes—whether in reducing waste, enhancing energy efficiency, or strengthening workplace safety.

Key Highlights from the Dignitaries

• Mr. Avinash Upadhyay, Director, QCFI North India, said:
  “This convention resonates with the Prime Minister’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. The real strength of any nation lies not just in its resources but in its quality mindset. In today’s competitive global era, it is only quality that gives us a distinct identity.”

• Mr. Manish Galundia, President, Udaipur Chamber of Commerce, stated:

Recognition and Awards

Teams used charts, models, and multimedia to present their achievements, which were highly appreciated by judges and the audience. Based on criteria such as innovation, tangible results, and presentation skills, 98 Gold medals and 5 Silver medals were awarded during the closing ceremony.

Credit for Success

The success of the convention was credited to the collective efforts of the QCFI Rajsamand Chapter team led by Chairman Dr. Narendra Kumar Sharma, Secretary Mr. S.K.
