Udaipur. The Akhil Bharatiya Himalaya Parivar Mahila Prakoshth, Udaipur, organized a vibrant Sawan Utsav celebration at Ghoomar Garden, Hiran Magri, highlighting the significance of Sawan in Indian tradition and its deep cultural connection with society. As part of the Leheriya Utsav, more than 125 women from various parts of Udaipur participated with great enthusiasm.
Event convenor Mrs. Hemlata Jaroli shared that the aim of this celebration was to connect more women with the Safe Himalaya – Safe India campaign. Chief Guest and former Mayor of Udaipur Municipal Corporation, Mrs. Rajni Dangi, emphasized that “Himalaya Parivar plays a key role in strengthening the cultural unity of India under the guidance of senior RSS Pracharak and national patron of Himalaya Parivar, Indresh Kumar Ji.”
State General Secretary Arvind Jaroli noted that the newly established women’s wing hosted this event to promote traditional Indian values. Dressed in graceful Leheriya sarees and traditional attire, participants expressed thoughts of national service and devotion with elegance and pride.
Social worker Kailash Menaria stated, “Such programs undoubtedly ignite a renewed spirit of patriotism and national consciousness among women, empowering the matri shakti of our nation.”
Dr. Sushil Nimbark, Chittorgarh Prant Convenor, informed that in the competition, Meena Patel secured first place, Sarita Rao came second, and Lannina Talreja stood third. All participants were felicitated with mementos. Women were also encouraged to participate in the 30th Sindhu Darshan Yatra.
The event was graced by the presence of Himalaya Parivar’s State Vice President Raman Sud, District President Ashok Saswat, and Mahila Prakoshth Coordinator Maniben Patel. The program was anchored by Dr. Sneha Babel, Professor at Meera Girls College. The panel of judges included Mrs. Anuradha Sharma, Dr. Chandan Bala Maru, and Gujan Vishwakarma.
