Udaipur. The movement led by lawyers and the public in the Mevad-Vagad region for the establishment of a virtual court bench in Udaipur has succeeded today.
A delegation of the Udaipur Bar Association met with the Law Minister, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, and Udaipur Member of Parliament Arjun Lal Ji Meena today. During the meeting, Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal assured with confidence that virtual high court benches will be established in 10 locations across India, including three places in Rajasthan, namely Udaipur, Kota, and Bikaner. Honourable Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal stated that discussions with the Chief Justice of India are ongoing, and an official announcement will be made soon. Considering Udaipur's economic and social conditions, the establishment of a virtual high court bench is necessary for the public's welfare. The inauguration of the virtual high court bench in Udaipur will be announced soon. In the delegation, the Udaipur Bar Association's President Rakesh Mogra, Former President Shantilal Chaplot, Mevad-Vagad High Court Bench Struggle Committee Coordinator Ramesh Chandra Nandwana, Secretary Ramkripa Sharma, Former President Harsh Mehta of the Bar Council of Rajasthan, Former President Praveen Khandelwal, Mahendra Kumar Nagda, Bharat Kumar Vaishnav, Senior Advocates Arun Vyas, and Chetan Puri Goswami were present.
Ram Kripa Sharma, Secretary of the Mevad-Vagad High Court Bench Struggle Committee, stated that His Excellency the Governor of Assam, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, has made a significant contribution by facilitating a meeting with the Union Law Minister. The entire delegation from the Mevad-Vagad region and Udaipur MP Arjun Ram Meena had a positive conversation with the Law Minister, receiving an affirmative response. The announcement of the establishment of a virtual high court bench in Udaipur has been made by the Law Minister. Every lawyer and citizen in the Mevad-Vagad region expresses heartfelt gratitude to Hon'ble Law Minister and His Excellency the Governor of Assam, Shri Gulab Chand Ji Kataria, who also had a productive telephonic discussion with Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal.
