Udaipur, Senior citizens’ music group Varishth Suron Ki Mandali will host “Ek Shaam Shaheedon Ke Naam” (AnEvening for the Martyrs) on Thursday, 14 August at 5 PM at Madhushree Auditorium, Ashoka Palace.
Founder Mukesh Madhwani said that on the eve of Independence Day, 25 patriotic songs will be performed as a tribute to martyrs. Three participants wearing the best patriotic attire will be awarded.
According to Queen Mary and Hema Joshi, the event will not only provide a platform for senior artists but also give audiences a vibrant musical experience.
Media in-charge Prof. Vimal Sharma stated that 25 senior members have been rehearsing every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday for the event. IAS Priyavrat Pandya will be the chief guest, and senior journalist Claude D’Souza from The Times of India will be the special guest.
On 17 August (Sunday) at 4 PM, the group will also organise Bhajanamrit – 2025 on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, in collaboration with Balaji Satsang Mandal, featuring devotional songs dedicated to Lord Krishna.
