###Vibrant Gujarat Cultural Program in Udaipur

Udaipur, In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” and the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, a unique fusion of cultures unfolded at the Vibrant Gujarat Cultural Program 2025 held on Sunday at the Field Club premises in Udaipur. The event showcased a remarkable confluence of Gujarati and Mewari traditions, leaving the audience deeply immersed in the celebration of unity through culture.

Grand Inauguration with Distinguished Guests

Hosted by the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited, the program was inaugurated in the presence of Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulabchand Kataria as the chief guest. The event also saw the presence of Gujarat Tourism Minister Mulubhai Bera, Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasiya, Udaipur City MLA Tarachand Jain, Gujarat Tourism Secretary Rajendra Kumar, MD of Gujarat Tourism Prabhav Joshi, former minister Harish Rajani, and social worker Gajpal Singh among others.

Celebration of Attire, Dance, and Folk Arts

The venue came alive with people dressed in traditional attire – from Chaniya Cholis, Kediyus, and Chornas representing Gujarat, to Mewari Pagris and Rajputana Safas showcasing the pride of Rajasthan. The performances reflected the spirit of “One India, Great India,” with mesmerizing folk dances such as Talwar Raas, Gof Gunthan, and Maniyaro Raas from Gujarat, followed by Rajasthan’s graceful Ghoomar. The highlight came when acclaimed playback singer Parthiv Gohil captivated the audience with soulful renditions of Gujarati folk songs.

Flavors of Gujarat on Display

The cultural immersion was complemented by culinary delights as food stalls offered an array of Gujarati specialties including Khaman-Dhokla, Fafda, and other delicacies, giving visitors a true taste of Gujarat’s rich culinary tradition.

Strengthening Shared Heritage

Chief Guest Gulabchand Kataria emphasized that holding the Vibrant Gujarat Cultural Program in Udaipur – a historic city of lakes – was a matter of pride. “The coming together of Udaipur and Gujarat, known for its vibrant culture and heritage, is truly remarkable. Such events strengthen our shared cultural legacy and place India more firmly on the global tourism map,” he said. He added that India’s strength lies in its diversity, and cultural exchanges between states enrich tourism while fostering unity.

Deep Cultural Bonds Between Rajasthan and Gujarat

Gujarat Tourism Minister Mulubhai Bera noted that the relationship between Rajasthan and Gujarat runs deep, visible in their cuisine, lifestyle, and traditions. “Today’s event reflects this bond, from the flavors of Gujarati food to the rhythms of traditional Garba. This program will further deepen the unbreakable ties between the two states,” he said.
