Guru Purnima Celebrated with Devotion at C.P.S. School, Udaipur

Udaipur: Central Public Sr. Sec. School, located in New Bhupalpura, Udaipur, celebrated the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima with traditional Vedic rituals and immense enthusiasm. Over 100 students participated in a grand Guru Vandana ceremony, performing Angushtha Poojan (worship of the teacher's thumb) and offering coconuts, flowers, and pens to express their reverence and gratitude to their teachers.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Professor Col. S.S. Sarangdevot (Vice-Chancellor, Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth) and Dr. Venus Vyas (Head, Psychology Department, Shramjeevi College), along with other dignitaries.

Professor Sarangdevot emphasized the significance of the Guru-Shishya tradition in Indian culture and lauded C.P.S. School’s commitment to preserving and promoting Indian values and heritage.

Chairperson Mrs. Alka Sharma addressed the students, highlighting the crucial role of teachers in shaping young lives and inspiring students to imbibe the values of the Guru-Shishya parampara. She blessed the students and praised their dedication.

On this occasion, teachers who produced excellent board exam results for grades 10 and 12, and students who excelled academically, including those selected in NEET UG, were felicitated.

The event was attended by Administrative Director Mr. Anil Sharma, Director Dr. Deepak Sharma, Joint Director Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Shekhawat, Principal Mrs. Poonam Rathore, Administrator Mr. Sunil Babel, and Headmistress Mrs. Krishna Shaktawat. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Principal Mrs. Poonam Rathore.
