St. Anthony School Swimmers Shine at State Championship

Udaipur – Two talented swimmers from St. Anthony School made the city proud by securing a total of 7 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze medal at the recently concluded 36th State Swimming Championship, where they represented Udaipur with outstanding performances.

School Principal Mr. William D’Souza shared that Soumya Khamesra won 4 gold medals in the 100m, 400m, 800m, and 1500m freestyle events, along with 2 silver medals in the 200m freestyle and 200m relay. Sirjan Singh secured 3 gold medals in the 50m, 100m, and 200m breaststroke events, 1 silver medal in the 200m Individual Medley (IM), and 1 bronze medal in the 200m freestyle.

The school management and entire staff extended their heartfelt congratulations to both winners and wished them a bright future. On this occasion, Principal William D’Souza expressed his pride, stating, “We convey our best wishes to our students and hope they continue to achieve new heights.” The school also appreciated the unwavering support of the management, considering this achievement a matter of great pride and inspiration for all.
