#### Bal Sahitya Fair begins at Morpa School

Kota, A Bal Sahitya Fair was organized on Saturday at Government Higher Secondary School, Morpa (Sultanpur) under the Mission Bal Tak initiative by Sanskriti, Sahitya, Media Forum. For the first time in the Hadoti region, a handwritten storybook authored by children was released by girl students, an innovation initiated by teacher Dr. Aparna Pandey. The book was edited by Radhe Kumari Malav. A total of 111 children from this school and Adarsh Vidya Niketan, Morpa, contributed stories on diverse themes.

During the event, children recited self-written poems and stories, such as Pushp Ki Abhilasha by Kartik Malav, Mera Gaon by Kartik Malav, Ped Aur Paudha by Akshara Malav, Phoolmati Aur Neem Ka Ped by Ashna, and Buddhiman Vyakti aur Ek Yuvak by Diya Malav.

In the story competition, winners from Government Higher Secondary School were Ashna (first), Radhe (second), and Sakshi (third), while from Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Akshara Malav (first), Diya Malav (second), and Hitesh Gochar (third). They were awarded certificates and children’s books as prizes.

Chief guest and writer Dr. Prabhat Kumar Singhal said that such children’s fairs are nurturing a new nursery of literature. He announced that these Bal Melas will continue till Children’s Day. The program was presided over by litterateur Jitendra Nirmohi, while special guests Rameshwar Sharma “Ramu Bhaiya” and Yogiraj Yogi recited poems.

The fair began with lamp lighting before Goddess Saraswati’s portrait. Students Divyanshi, Payal, and Priyanshi presented a welcome song and Saraswati Vandana. Vice Principal Mrs. Harshita Jain expressed gratitude and, along with guest Mahesh Pancholi, gifted children’s literature books to the students.

More than 100 students and teachers participated in the event.
