Jaipur, Sapta Shakti Command, in collaboration with the Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) Roorkee, organised a technical workshop on “Modern Construction Practices and Emerging Technologies.” During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed for third-party technical inspection (TPTI) of defence infrastructure.
Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander of Sapta Shakti Command, emphasised the importance of quality infrastructure and housing in the armed forces and highlighted the benefits of third-party oversight. The initiative aims to ensure high-quality, sustainable, and innovative construction practices through interdisciplinary cooperation.
Under the MoU, CBRI will provide technical consultation and facilitate third-party inspections for ongoing infrastructure projects within the Command. A booklet titled “Aapka Sashaktikaran” was also released on the occasion.
In the one-day workshop, CBRI scientists discussed best practices in construction and innovative, sustainable technologies, followed by an interactive session with participants.
