#### Citizen felicitation of Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani in Ahmedabad*

Ahmedabad/Jaipur, Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that both the states of Gujarat and Rajasthan are symbols of shared values of brotherhood, harmony and development, and the citizens of both the states are moving forward together like 'sugar in milk'. He said that during the month of Shravan, I got the privilege of visiting and worshipping the first Jyotirlinga Somnath and Nageshwar Mahadev as well as visiting Dwarkadhish and Gir Yatra during my stay in Gujarat.

Devnani was addressing his grand civic felicitation ceremony at Terapanth Sabha Bhavan in Shahibag, Ahmedabad on Sunday. On this occasion, Gujarat Assembly Speaker Shankarbhai Chaudhary was also present as the chief guest. The program was organized by Rajasthan Yuva Manch and Rajasthan Cultural Forum. Eminent representatives of the migrant community of Rajasthan province, leading leaders, office bearers of various business organizations and prominent people of social institutions were present in the function and welcomed both the Assembly Speakers with garlands and mementos.

On this occasion, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Ahmedabad Pratibhaben Jain in her welcome speech congratulated the citizens for the achievements of Ahmedabad in the Swachhata Abhiyan. She informed about encouraging the use of Ganesh idols made of clay under the upcoming Shri Ganesh Mahotsav and felicitated the Speaker by presenting a Ganesh idol.

In his address, Gujarat Assembly Speaker Shankarbhai Chaudhary welcomed Shri Devnani on this occasion and said that during his stay in Gujarat, he took out time to meet the Rajasthani community settled here, this is a symbol of his intimacy and dedication towards the society. He urged everyone to contribute together in the development of both the states.
