Udaipur: A grand Road Safety Awareness Program was organized today at the Late Narmada Devi Agarwal Auditorium of Geetanjali Hospital, under the joint aegis of Geetanjali Hospital, Rajasthan Transport & Road Safety Department, and Aadhar Foundation Trust. The event commenced at 10:00 AM with a graceful Ganesh Vandana.
The event was graced by distinguished guests including Maharaj Kunwarani Nivrutti Kumari Ji Mewar as Chief Guest, Bollywood actor Nakul Roshan Sahdev from the film Muradabad, social media influencer Ikarth Purohit, Regional Transport Officer Shri Gyandev Vishwakarma, District Transport Officer Shri Nitin Bohra, Aadhar Foundation CEO Narayan Choudhary, Director Preeti Pamecha, Rockwoods Chairperson Mrs. Alka Sharma, Director Deepak Sharma, CPS Principal Mrs. Poonam Rathore, and Geetanjali Hospital DGM Marketing Mr. Kalpesh Chand Rajbar. The program was hosted by Aryan.
Students from various schools of Udaipur enthusiastically participated in the event. The audience was sensitized through impactful street plays on road safety, mobile safety-themed performances, dances, and songs.
A highlight of the event was the performance by an artist dressed as Yamraj, who used humor and satire to deliver powerful messages on road safety, making it engaging and easy for children and youth to understand the gravity of the issue.
Dr. Ashish Sharma, Lab Director at Geetanjali Hospital, educated the audience on basic trauma care and the significance of the Golden Hour, while also introducing the 24x7 trauma services available at the hospital. He emphasized the importance of emergency response and ensured that every child present memorized Emergency Number 112.
Good Samaritan Awards were presented to responsible citizens who extended help to road accident victims, recognizing their acts of humanity. Schools were also felicitated for their outstanding performances and contribution to road safety awareness.
