Manufacturing Industry Key to Nation’s Growth: Prashant Sinha

Udaipur — “The industrial and economic development of any country relies heavily on its manufacturing industry. To boost this sector and create new employment opportunities, the Central Government has launched the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana,” stated Mr. Prashant Kumar Sinha during a seminar held at the Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI).

The interactive session took place at the Pyrotech Tempsons Auditorium of the UCCI building. Organized by the UCCI, the seminar brought together officials from the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) and the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC).

Welcoming all attendees, UCCI President Mr. Manish Galundia emphasized that PF and ESIC schemes serve the interests of both employers and employees.

Mr. G.L. Nagda from the PF department delivered a PowerPoint presentation, offering a detailed overview of the newly launched Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana. Enforcement Officer Mr. Premchand Deshantri guided participants on how to register for the scheme online through the PF department’s portal.

During an open discussion, EPFO Commissioner Mr. Prashant Kumar Sinha urged local entrepreneurs to participate in national development by generating new employment under the scheme.

In the second session, ESIC Assistant Director Mr. Nikhil Kumar presented the SPREE 2025 scheme through a PowerPoint presentation. An open Q&A session followed, where Mr. Nikhil Kumar and Deputy Director Mr. Deepak Kumar Meena addressed participants' queries.

Social Security Officer Mr. Himanshu Gothwal was also present at the event. The session was moderated by Mr. Anil Mishra, Co-Chairman of UCCI’s PF/ESIC Sub-Committee. Around 70 participants from various industrial units and business establishments attended the seminar.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. V.P. Rathi, Chairman of UCCI’s PF/ESIC Sub-Committee.
