ARMY WIVES WELFARE ASSOCIATION CELEBRATES AWWA DAY WITH FLAIR

In a befitting tribute to the selfless contributions of Army wives, Sapta Shakti Command celebrated 58th AWWA Day  The festivities encompassed a series of activities conducted in various military stations, meticulously designed to empower, support, and recognise the pivotal role of Army wives.

In the lead-up to AWWA Day, the organisation hosted a lecture on cervical cancer awareness organised by Military Hospital Jaipur. The Lecture emphasised on the importance of early detection and prevention of cervical cancer.

A medical camp was also organised, providing free health check-ups, consultations, and medications to over 700 army families.

The AWWA Exhibition, a vibrant event, showcased the talent & skills of army families and was witnessed and admired by a large audience. In addition, a workshop on Media & journalism was conducted empowering young men and women with the skills to express themselves effectively.

AWWA Day celebrations culminated with a mega event at Sapta Shakti Auditiorium including cultural program, recognition of outstanding achievements by AWWA members and a keynote address by Regional President AWWA.
