### New Session Begins at Nursery School of College of Community and Applied Sciences

Udaipur,  The new academic session of the experimental nursery school, operated under the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at the College of Community and Applied Sciences— a constituent college of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology— commenced on 07 July 2025.

At the start of the session, a warm welcome was extended to all parents and newly admitted children by the nursery school teachers and the Head of Department. Following this, an orientation programme was organised for the parents.

In her address, the Dean of the college, Dr. Dhriti Solanki, informed parents that the nursery school operates on the principles of the New Education Policy, focusing on the holistic development of children. She explained that play-based learning is at the core of the teaching methodology to ensure joyful and effective learning.

Head of the Department, Dr. Suman Audichya, welcomed all parents and elaborated on the nursery school’s educational framework and yearly activities. She emphasized that when a child transitions from the familiar home environment to a new educational setting, it is an adjustment phase where the involvement of parents plays a crucial role.

On this occasion, a specially prepared booklet outlining the nursery’s annual programmes was also released. The orientation aimed to make parents well-acquainted with all the events and learning initiatives that will take place throughout the year.
