Grand Vehicle Rally Marks Agrasen Jayanti Celebrations in Udaipur

Udaipur. On the occasion of the 5149th birth anniversary of Shri Shri 1008 Maharaja Agrasen Ji, the Agrasen Jayanti Mahotsav Committee organized a grand vehicle rally on Sunday as part of the week-long celebrations. The rally was taken out by Agrayouth, resonating with chants in praise of Maharaja Agrasen.

According to the publicity committee conveners Ravindra Agarwal and Rajesh Agarwal, the main highlight of the celebrations will be the grand procession scheduled for Monday.

The Sunday rally commenced after worship rituals at the Agraval Bhavan in Surajpole and Shri Agrasen Maharaj’s idol. The procession passed through Asthal Chouraha, Jhiniret, Dhanmandi, Bhupalwadi, Bada Bazaar, Ghantaghar, Moti Chohatta, Hathipole, Delhi Gate, and Bapu Bazaar, before concluding at Agraval Bhavan.

At the forefront, youths raised spirited slogans while carrying Maharaja Agrasen’s portrait on an open jeep, followed by a long convoy of two-wheelers driven by young men and women. The rally received warm welcomes at several points along the route.

Prominent attendees included Sanjay Agarwal, Dinesh Agarwal, Jagdeep Mangal, Ravindra Agarwal, Chandraprakash Agarwal, Rakesh Garg, Secretary Vaishnav Dinesh Bansal, Rajesh Agarwal, Gajendra Agarwal, Gaurav Bansal, Pradeep Jain, Himkumar Airan, Shiv Kumar Agarwal, Ramprakash Agarwal, Lalit Agarwal, Satyanarayan Gupta, and Vivek Agarwal.

A strong presence of women added grandeur to the event with participation from Deepika Agarwal, Priya Mittal, Neelam Agarwal, Rama Mittal, Neetu Gupta, Geeta Agarwal, Sheena Agarwal, Sushma Agarwal, and Samta Agarwal among others.

The celebrations will continue on Monday with a majestic procession starting at 3:30 PM from the Nimbark College premises, passing through the city’s main routes, and returning to the same venue. The day will conclude with a cultural evening beginning at 7 PM.
