Udaipur, Anjuman Secretary Advocate Mustafa Sheikh informed that the Juloos-e-Mohammadi was taken out on Friday after Namaz-e-Jumma from Anjuman Chowk. The Savina and Khanjipir processions joined at Anjuman, marking a historic beginning.
Amidst chants of Nara-e-Takbeer, Salaam, and “Marhaba,” a sea of thousands of devotees passed through the city streets. The procession moved through Sindhi Bazaar, Bada Bazaar, Ghantaghar, Moti Chohta, Harvenji ka Khurra, Hathipol, Silawatwadi, Bichchughaati, Jatwadi, Nai Puliya, Ambavgarh Kachhi Basti, Ayurvedic College Chauraha, and finally reached Raza Colony Badi Masjid via Charak Chhatrawas Marg.
At Hathipol, processions from Aayad, Dholi Bawdi, Pahada, Aalu Factory, and other localities merged, creating a magnificent spectacle of unity.
This year, Anjuman introduced a white dress code, which was warmly adopted and appreciated by the devotees.
All mohalla committees, dargah committees, social-religious organizations, as well as children from madrasas and schools participated by reciting Tilawat, Naat, and Salaam.
The event witnessed the presence of prominent scholars including Maulana Julkarnain, Mufti Ahmed Hussain, and Maulana Aas Mohammad, along with numerous local clerics.
From the Anjuman Committee, President Mukhtar Ahmed Qureshi, Secretary Mustafa Sheikh, Vice President Farooq Qureshi, Joint Secretary Izhar Hussain, Cabinet Member Anees Raza (Procession Coordinator), Fakhruddin Sheikh, Tauqeer Mohammad, Tanveer Chishti, Firoz Basheer, Siraj Mohammad, Adil Sheikh, Irshad Khan, Mohammad, Irshad Khan Shahzad, and several other dignitaries and youth leaders actively participated.
The final destination of the procession was the Dargah of Hazrat Imrat Rasool Shah (RA), where a Chadar Sharif was respectfully offered at the shrine of Mufti Zaheerul Hasan (RA) on the occasion of his Urs.
After the conclusion, Lake City Travels, along with Mukhtiyar, Muzzaffar Hussain, and Abdul Farid Khan, provided free bus services, giving great relief to the devotees.
Spokesperson Rashid Khan stated that the Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi procession turned into a grand wave of faith and devotion and concluded around 10 PM.
