Two-Day Bird Identification Workshop Commences

Udaipur : In collaboration with the Forest Department, WWF India, and Green People Society, a two-day bird identification workshop began on Wednesday at the Forest Building in Chetak Circle.

On the first day, environmentalist Dr. Satish Kumar Sharma shared crucial information about birds, emphasizing their life cycles. Another speaker, Vinay Dave, shed light on Sarus Cranes and their associated aspects. The chief guest, Chief Forest Conservator Wildlife Raj Kumar Jain, highlighted the objectives of the workshop, expressing the importance of enhancing knowledge about birds and promoting their conservation.

Rahul Bhatnagar, President of Green People Society, expressed gratitude for joining this workshop at the Udaipur Bird Festival. He mentioned that it provides a golden opportunity for emerging bird enthusiasts to learn. Deputy Forest Conservator Wildlife Arun Kumar D informed that on January 4, all participants in the workshop will be taken on a field visit to the Jungle Safari Park. Bird enthusiasts participating in the workshop will be awarded certificates on January 14 during the closing program of the Bird Festival.
