Kota, September. In a significant breakthrough, Circle Inspector Ramswaroop Meena of the Kota City Railway Colony Police Station has intensified action against criminals listed in the Top-10 most wanted. Acting on intelligence, the police arrested a fugitive thief carrying a reward of ₹5,000 — Akash Bairwa alias Billa, son of Ramraj alias Ramnarayan, a resident of Kumharo ka Mohalla, Prem Nagar-2, Udyog Nagar, currently residing at Kali Mata Basti, Kunhadi.
According to City SP Tejaswini Gautam, the arrest is linked to a theft case registered in the Railway Colony police station area. On June 12, unidentified thieves had broken into the residence of Satendra Jaiswal at Riddhi Siddhi Nagar, Rangpur Road, Bhadana, and stolen jewelry and cash, including a gold necklace, one diamond ring, two gold rings, two bangles, one gulbandh, two gold chains, one bracelet, three diamond-studded earrings, and ₹15,000 in cash.
Earlier, several accomplices in this case — including Sunil Panchal, Vijay Saxena alias Kallu, Zahid Baig alias Golu, Yatish alias Yogesh Panchal, Rahnuma Bano, Yogesh alias Sunny, and Shailesh Soni — had already been arrested, with the stolen property fully recovered.
Given the gravity of the case, CI Ramswaroop Meena constituted a special police team comprising Head Constable Kapil Garv and Constables Laxman Diwan, Naresh, and Buddhi Prakash. The team’s sustained efforts led to the successful arrest of the absconding criminal.
