Udaipur – The Shri Govardhan Kripa Chaturmas Aradhana Mahotsav will be held from July 10 to September 6 at Abhinav Braj Mandal, Shri Manorama Golokteerth, Nandgaon under the divine guidance of Shri Charananandji Maharaj of Sotyachi, Udaipur. The event is being organized by Shri Godham Mahatirth Pathmeda Lok Pushparth Nyas.
Addressing a press conference in Udaipur, CEO of Godham Mahatirth Pathmeda, Alok Singhal, stated that a unique spiritual initiative is about to begin on the sacred land of Arbudanchal. He emphasized that religion must be practiced to preserve it, and it is through this practice that human welfare is achieved. He highlighted that values like truth, non-violence, compassion, and charity originate from Gomata (mother cow). He added that religion is the son of the cow, and Sanatan Dharma, humanity, and Hinduism all align with the universal religion of mankind.
Singhal explained that the months of Shravan and Bhadrapad are especially auspicious—Shravan symbolizes truth, Bhadrapad non-violence, Ashwin compassion, and Kartik charity. During this sacred period, saints and sages stay in one place and guide society with their teachings.
On this occasion, the Surdhenu Dharma Odni Yatra was also announced. Committees will be formed in villages to collect one fistful of grain and one rupee from each household to support communal meals (Mahabhandara) and offerings for cows (Gopal Bhog). The campaign will also include Gopuja (cow worship) in villages and religious processions. Arrangements for both walking and vehicle pilgrims will be made, and the initiative will be widely promoted on social media.
Alok Singhal called upon the entire Hindu community to rise above caste and social divisions and participate in large numbers in this sacred initiative. Prominent devotees including Badi Singh Rajpurohit, Sampatlal Maheshwari, Giridhari Lal Barhat, and Chandraprakash Jain were also present during the press meet.
