New Delhi . Pramod Jain, renowned architect of Jaipur, M/s Pramod Jain & Associates has received the prestigious Design Scape Award 2025. Pramod Jain and his associates have been given this award in the category of Government and Civic Buildings for the design of Marwar International Centre (MIC), Jodhpur.
Pramod Jain received this award on Thursday evening at a grand ceremony held at the prestigious Sahara Star Hotel in Mumbai. He received this award for the second consecutive year. Last year, he received the Design Escape Award for Rajasthan International Centre Jaipur in the category of Auditorium and Arena.
The event was attended by the country's top architects, interior designers, top real estate personalities and many dignitaries of Mumbai. The ceremony was organized by the Economic Times National Media Group.
The national jury praised the Marwar International Centre (MIC) as a contemporary architectural marvel, deeply connected to the architectural heritage of Jodhpur. Built with Sursagar sandstone and traditional construction techniques, the centre skillfully integrates regional character with modern technology, innovation and functionality. MIC is the largest auditorium in Rajasthan, seating 1,350 people. It has an iconic façade made of Jodhpuri stones, with grand entrances, layered ceilings and traditional embellishments such as stone pillars, jaalis, brackets, sashes and chhajjas. This confluence of vastness, grandeur and cultural symbols makes MIC a distinctive landmark of the city. The centre was inaugurated on 25 September 2023.
