Unveiling of the New Logo of Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU)Udaipur - A New Beginning

Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur promoted by JK Cement Ltd. was established in 2007as the first private University in Rajasthan. The new logo of the University was unveiledvirtually on July 14, 2022. The event commemorated the legacy of Sir Padampat Singhania and Late Shri Yadupati Singhania who envisioned to be the frontiers in education. Shri Nidhipati Singhania, the Honourable Chancellor of the University launched the logo and explained its symbolic interpretation with the tree of abundance reaching out to progress, prosper and promote the ecological growth. He emphasized on the key parameters of the transformation journey of the University and brought to light the launch of specialized courses in the academic session of 2022-23 and industry-academia collaborations to strengthen the placements and focus on experiential learning. Professor (Dr.) Padmakali Banerjee, the HonourableVice Chancellor (President) of SPSU addressed the young minds as the harbingers of change. She encouraged them to join the era of new age learningand become a change agent, a knowledge seeker, a trailblazer and a path breaker. Highlighting the robust leadership of JK Cement and highly motivated and learned faculty of the University she urged the students to join the industry integrated professional programs that would equip them with multi-skills, myriad talents and develop the right attitude to achieve success.
Dr. Raghapat Singhania, the Managing Director of the companysharedhis thoughts and ideas on the new corporate identity. He stressed on technological developments, the accelerated growth and the role of the University in shaping the lives of the individuals. Shri Madhavkrishna Singhania, DMD and CEO, JK Cement Ltd. highlighted the importance of change for sustainable leadership and bright future. Mr. Ajay Saraogi, DMD and CFO JK Cement Ltd.shared the rich legacy of the legendary Sir Padampat Singhania Ji who was a visionary, an extraordinary industrialist, a generous philanthropist, a sports and education enthusiast. He was also was nominated to the Constituent Assembly of India and also had the honour of being a signatory to the Indian Constitution. The Campus Director of the University Colonel Sanjay Sinha applauded the vision and mission of the JK family and thanked the entire team for the magnificent coordination and successful culmination of the event. The event was celebrated by the students, faculty members, industry partners, policy makers, collaborators and higher education aspirants.  The virtual event was a great success and illustrated the transformative journey and its conceptualization in a very candid and comprehensive manner.
