Jaipur: The Faculty of Law at Apex University organized a special lecture on Monday, where Prof. Anand Paliwal, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, addressed students on the theme “Evolution and Features of the Indian Constitution.”
The session was attended by students of LLB first year, final year, and seventh semester, along with faculty members. Prof. Paliwal’s insightful lecture provided students and teachers with a deeper understanding of constitutional values, the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the judiciary, and the future of legal systems.
Prof. Paliwal highlighted that countries like the UK, Brazil, and Singapore are already integrating AI into judicial systems, making justice faster and more effective. He stressed that while India must embrace AI in the judiciary, it is equally essential to balance technology with ethics and constitutional principles.
He remarked, “India has the potential to become a unique global example, where the judicial system combines machine learning with the richness of Indian knowledge traditions.”
Encouraging students to look beyond textbooks, Prof. Paliwal urged them to focus on practical experience and clear career goals. He emphasized, “Contribute to the field of law in a way that benefits both society and the nation.”
Expressing optimism, he said India could become a nation with a higher proportion of women judges and advocates compared to other countries.
The session was coordinated by Prof. Monika Sharma, who also delivered the vote of thanks. Campus Director Air Commodore D.S. Shekhawat welcomed Prof. Paliwal and appreciated his thought-provoking address.
