42nd District Nehru Hockey Tournament Organized under the Aegis of MMPS

Udaipur: The 42nd District Nehru Hockey Tournament, organized under the aegis of Maharana Mewar Public School (MMPS), City Palace, Udaipur, was successfully held at the Vidya Bhawan Sports Ground.

A total of nine teams from across the district participated in the tournament. The opening match was played between PM Shri School, Mavli and Government Senior Secondary School, Pai, in which PM Shri School, Mavli emerged victorious.

The final match witnessed an exciting clash between Vidya Bhawan School and My First Step, Mavli, where Vidya Bhawan School clinched the championship title. The MMPS City Palace, Udaipur team also showcased a commendable performance, securing third place in the tournament.

The closing ceremony was graced by Mr. Laxman Salvi, Deputy District Education Officer (Physical Education, Secondary), who presented mementos and certificates to the winning teams.

Tournament director Siddharth Singh Rathore extended his gratitude to the guests and officials. Satish Kumar Sharma, Honorary Director of MMPS, congratulated the school team for their outstanding performance.
