The Kishanpol Yuvak Mandal celebrated the 36th Shri Ganesh Mahotsav and Cultural Festival 2025 with great enthusiasm and religious fervor. The night was illuminated with a spectacular Maha Aarti of 2100 lamps, followed by a one-hour grand display of sky-high fireworks and cultural performances that captivated the audience.
Sacred Rituals and Processions on Anant Chaturdashi
On the auspicious occasion of Anant Chaturdashi, the celebrations began at 7:15 am with a sacred Havan ceremony at the Shri Siddhi Vinayak Temple. At 9:15 am, a majestic Shobha Yatra (grand procession) commenced, marking the spiritual and cultural highlight of the day.
Splendor of the Shobha Yatra
The procession featured five dancing horses, a tableau of Lord Mahadev, a grand idol of Lord Ganesha, accompanied by 21 Mandasauri dhols, powerful sound systems, two attractive tableaux, and the participation of nearly 700 devotees.
The Shobha Yatra started from Kishanpol Salvi Colony, passing through Khanjipir, Roshan School, Surajpol, Asthal Mandir, Jhiniret Chowk, Marshal Chauraha, Mandi, Teej ka Chowk, Bhadbhuja Ghati, Bada Bazaar, Ghantaghar, and Jagdish Chowk. At Gangaur Ghat, the idol was bathed and Aarti performed.
From there, the procession continued via Jagdish Chowk, Bhatiyani Chohatta, Rangiwas, and Sameer Bagh, finally concluding at Shri Siddhi Vinayak Temple.
Grand Conclusion with Mahaprasad
At 6:15 pm, Mahaprasad was distributed among devotees, marking the conclusion of the festivities. All devotees were warmly invited to attend with their families and seek the blessings of Ganpati Bappa.
