Devdarshan Padyatra of the Devasthan Department became a devotional lake city

The Devdarshan Padyatra, organized by the Devasthan Department of the Udaipur State Government on the Ekadashi of the month of Vaishakh on Sunday, turned devotional in the city. During this, the cabinet minister called upon the residents of Udaipur to that Indian culture is unique and revered all over the world, and there is a great need to preserve the values we inherit. Devasthan Minister Shakuntala Rawat participated on this auspicious occasion and expressed her commitment to this event by taking the child form of Lord Krishna in her lap and walking barefoot during the yatra. City dwellers thronged the streets to see the minister and other dignitaries marching barefoot, carrying Lord Krishna's child form in their lap and welcoming the yatra by showering flowers.


Padyatra with Devdarshan in 11 temples:

In this padayatra organized from Gulab Swaroop Bihari Ji Temple to Amrai Ghat via Chandpol, 11 temples under state independent and direct charge of the Devasthan Department were duly worshiped along with Dev darshan. Devasthan Minister Smt. Rawat started the padayatra by visiting the Gulab Swaroop Bihari Ji Temple near the City Palace. Starting from Gulab Swaroop Bihari Ji Temple, this journey passes through Jagat Shiromaniji Temple, Jawan Rupeshwarji, Jagannathrai Ji (Jagdish Temple), Jawan Suraj Bihariji Temple, Pratap Narayanji, Dhaneshwarji, Panch Mahadev, Bhim Parmeshwarji, Uday Shyamji Firangi Ghat. It ends at Sardar Swaroop, located at Amrai Ghat. After reaching Shyamji temple, it was concluded with Aarti. The devotees were devoted to Krishna of Bhajan kirtan and danced during this padayatra.

Event to give a message to the new generation:


On this occasion, Devasthan Minister Shakuntala Rawat said that Udaipur was organized after the first event in the capital Jaipur to make the new generation aware of our culture, heritage, art, and art traditions. She said this is an attempt to attract the present age, which is more attracted to mobile and godliness. He said that this is not a program to gather crowds but to create awareness about culture, and through this padayatra, he wants to give the same message that the temples of the Devasthan department are our cultural heritage.

Foreign tourists were also seen dancing:

During this padayatra, tourists from the country and abroad were also seen dancing in the Jagdish Chowk tourist area of the city. Foreign tourists danced enthusiastically to the tune of Hare Krishna-Hare Ram by applying sandalwood tilak and captured the scenes in their cameras during the padayatra.

Hare Rama-Hare Krishna echoed in the streets of the Old City:

The area between City Palace and Gangaur Ghat, the city's main tourist area, appeared submerged in Bhaktiras since early morning on Sunday. Representatives of ISKCON and Hare Krishna played the tune of Hare Krishna-Hare Rama on the beats of Dholak and Manjirs, along with other musical instruments from the Gulab Swaroop Bihari Ji Temple located at the main gate of the City Palace. From the beginning till the end of the yatra, this melody of Hare Krishna-Hare Rama kept echoing in the streets of the Old City. On the other hand, devotees could not stop listening to folk artists' bhajan performances at Gangaur Ghat.

Widespread reception:

During this padayatra, every city dweller ensured his participation. During the padayatra, flowers were showered outside all the temples, and during the padayatra route and the pediatric were welcomed. On the other hand, by arranging refreshments, snacks, ice cream, etc., for the pedestrians on the way many devotees, every section ensured their participation in making this event a success.

Addressing the ceremony organized at Amrai Ghat during the conclusion of Devdarshan Padyatra, Minister Rawat said that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot intends to maintain an atmosphere of peace and tranquility with communal harmony in the state; for this, he has launched this program and Public participation of every section in this program in Udaipur city has ensured their involvement in realizing this intention of the Chief Minister, for this I am grateful to all of you.

The city of lakes is the city of temples:

She said that the purpose of this government program is to make the ordinary people proud of the history, information, and folk culture of our ancient temples. She also said that all of you Udaipur residents are very fortunate, and having a temple at a distance of about 10 meters in every area in the city reflects the folk culture here. It is the city of lakes as well as the city of temples.

5-year-old Rudraditya tied the knot:

During the concluding program, the kirtan-karas of Nathdwara Mandir Mandal presented hymns in different ragas. Meanwhile, Rudraditya, the 5-year-old kirtankar of the mandal, impressed everyone with her mesmerizing presentation of "Madhuban Mein Radhika Nache Re..." amid the unique confluence of sur and taal. Minister Smt. Rawat gave a cash prize and blessings to Rudraditya as an incentive. She said that Rudraditya is the replica of Laddu Gopal in the true sense. MLA Preeti Shaktawat also caressed Rudraditya.

The young generation has to be connected with the sacraments:

Impressed by this little talent, Minister Smt. Rawat said there is a great need to connect today's young generation with such values. Now join the children in your home, family, and society with the religious events that take place along with daily worship so that they become familiar with our rituals and culture and create a positive environment everywhere. She congratulated the people present on Police Day, to be held on April 16, along with Vaishakhi Ekadashi.

Senior citizens received gifts from the pilgrimage:

Minister Smt. Rawat said that our department's Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme has fulfilled many senior citizens' dreams. Today, the Chief Minister has set an example by giving the gift of pilgrimage by rail, air, and road to the senior citizens while fulfilling the duty of a son. She also gave detailed information about Industrial Promotion Schemes, including OPS, Social Security Scheme, and Farmer's Welfare Schemes.

Chiranjeevi Yojana has proved to be a boon:

Minister Smt. Rawat said that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's most important scheme Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme has proved to be a boon for the state's people. Rawat said that I got many beneficiaries who have described this scheme as Sanjivani and said that today this scheme has again brought happiness to our family. Rajasthan has become a model due to better implementation of health services. He also gave detailed information about various government schemes and called upon them to take advantage of them. The program was coordinated by Jatin Gandhi, Assistant Commissioner of the Devasthan Department.

Devasthan Minister Shakuntala Rawat and Vallabhnagar MLA Preeti Shaktawat reached the collector's residence on Sunday afternoon after receiving information about her brother being sheltered in the collector's home after the heinous murder of an innocent daughter in Lopra village of Mavli subdivision area of the district. They met the daughter's family here.. After talking to them peacefully and taking information about this incident, they expressed condolences and said that the government and all of us are with you.

During this, she inquired about the financial assistance given by the government to the District Collector and said that strict action will be taken against the culprits. MLA Preeti Shaktawat told Cabinet Minister Smt. Rawat that while showing sensitivity, the District Collector got the deceased's brother a contract job while giving him shelter in his house like a family member, showing his commitment to building his career. Appreciating the collector's efforts, the minister said that every individual should help the victim's family at such a time.

Will give 300 sports kits to the children of the village:

This time the collector has decided to give 300 sports kits to the students of the government school of Lopra village, which was started on Sunday by Devasthan Minister Mrs. Shakuntala Rawat by providing 20 sports kits to Mahesh Paliwal of the town at the collector's residence. Collector Meena said that after this heinous massacre, this decision has been taken to create a positive environment among the village's children and to encourage them by connecting them with sports. In this, 300 children will soon be provided with sports kits and materials and motivated to move forward by making them aware of sports.
