#### Youth Rescued After 7-Hour Operation in Ahar River

Udaipur, A young man trapped in the middle of the Ahar River due to heavy rains and strong currents was finally rescued after a challenging seven-hour-long operation.

Incident Near FCI Godown

The incident occurred near the FCI godown in the Hiran Magri area, where a young man became stranded in the swollen river. As the water current intensified, he was unable to come out on his own. The news spread quickly, and a large crowd gathered at the site.

Multi-Agency Rescue Effort

On receiving the information, Additional District Collector Deependra Singh Rathore reached the spot on the instructions of the District Collector. Teams from the administration, police, and civil defence launched rescue efforts, but the strong current made it extremely difficult.

Media personnel Tarachand Gawaria and drone operator Kuldeep Parmar assisted by attempting to deliver a thin rope to the stranded youth using a drone. After two failed attempts, they succeeded on the third try, enabling rescuers to send a life jacket and tube to him.

Army Joins the Rescue

Later, District Collector Namit Mehta and Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena also reached the site. The Army was called in, and with the help of their drone, a thicker rope was successfully delivered to the youth. He was then safely pulled to the shore with the support of the life jacket and tube.

Community Support

Throughout the rescue, a large number of locals assisted and supported the operation, ensuring the young man’s life was saved after hours of relentless efforts.
