### World's Smallest Gold Chess Set to Be Displayed on World Chess Day

Udaipur, Renowned micro-artist Dr. Iqbal Sakka from Udaipur will showcase the world’s smallest handmade gold chess set on the occasion of World Chess Day. The miniature marvel will be on display at the Sakka Art Centre on 20th and 21st July.

Dr. Sakka shared that the entire chessboard measures just 14x14 millimetres, crafted from just half a gram of gold. The king stands at 5 mm, the queen at 4 mm, and the bishop, knight, and rook are each about 3.5 mm tall. The pawns, incredibly, are only 2 mm in height.

Due to its microscopic size, the chess set must be viewed through a magnifying lens, making it a unique creation in the world of micro-art and a fitting tribute to the game on this international celebration.

Dr. Sakka is well known for crafting record-breaking miniature gold artworks, and this creation adds another feather to his cap.
