Udaipur, A grand divisional-level program will be organized in Udaipur on September 23, 2025, to mark National Ayurveda Day and Dhanvantari Mahotsav. The event is being hosted by the Department of Ayurveda and will witness participation from officers, staff, and experts associated with Ayurveda from various districts of the division.
The primary objective of the program is to create public awareness about the relevance of Ayurveda, its role in daily lifestyle, and its contribution to healthy living. On this occasion, officials, medical officers, nursing staff, compounders, ministerial employees, and attendants who have rendered exceptional services in the field of Ayurveda will be felicitated.
Dr. Mahesh Gupta, Additional Director, Ayurveda Department, Udaipur Division, informed that for the first time, National Ayurveda Day and Dhanvantari Mahotsav will be jointly celebrated on September 23. He added that such events not only encourage healthcare workers but also serve as a vital medium to spread the reach of Ayurveda to the masses.
Program Convener and Senior Ayurvedic Medical Officer, Dr. Shobhalal Audichya, emphasized that Ayurveda is not merely a medical system but a way of life. He stated that the program will further strengthen health awareness in society.
The event will see participation from Ayurvedic medical officers, departmental staff, Ayurveda and yoga enthusiasts from different districts of the division. The celebration is expected to highlight the importance of Ayurveda and spread its message widely among the people.
