Workshop on New Criminal Laws Held at Sangam University

Bhilwara,  The Faculty of Legal Studies at Sangam University, in collaboration with the Department of Law and Legal Science, organized a workshop on the newly implemented criminal laws. The program focused on key provisions of India’s criminal justice system, practical challenges, and opportunities for reforms.

Distinguished speakers included Advocate Deeksha Yadav, Advocate Rupali Chauhan, Umera Saiyyed (student, Kanoria Law College), and Rohan Jangid (student volunteer). Umera Saiyyed also conducted a special interview for the Law and Legals News Channel, highlighting expert opinions shared during the session.

The event was organized under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Prof. Karunesh Saxena, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Manas Ranjan Panigrahi, and Registrar Dr. Alok Kumar.

The presence of Dr. Omprakash, Dean of the Faculty of Legal Studies; Assistant Dean Gaurav Saxena; and faculty members Dr. Sunakshi Sharma, Dr. Vishnupriya Dadheech, Shashank Shekhar Singh, Aditya Dadheech, Ms. Vartika Mishra, and Vrinda Maheshwari further enriched the session.

The workshop concluded with an interactive discussion emphasizing the importance of academic initiatives in preparing future lawyers and judicial officers.
