Udaipur — The newly renovated Chest and Tuberculosis (TB) Outpatient Department (OPD) at Pacific Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), Bedla, was inaugurated by renowned pulmonologist Dr. S.K. Luhadia along with PMCH Chairman Rahul Agrawal, Preeti Agrawal, Executive Director Aman Agrawal, CEO Sharad Kothari, PMU President Dr. M.M. Mangal, and specialists Dr. C.S. Purohit, Dr. Atul Luhadia, and Dr. Sunil Kumar.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Rahul Agrawal emphasized that the aim is to ensure that patients from Udaipur and nearby regions no longer need to travel to bigger cities for the treatment of complex lung and TB-related illnesses. This advanced OPD is a significant step toward achieving that goal.
Chief guest Dr. S.K. Luhadia appreciated the initiative and called it a boon for patients suffering from chest and TB disorders. He noted that PMCH is setting new standards in healthcare service quality.
Under the supervision of Interventional Pulmonologist and Chest & TB specialist Dr. Atul Luhadia, the renovated OPD is now equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment facilities. All advanced pulmonary services including Bronchoscopy, Cryo Biopsy, and Thoracoscopy are being offered free of cost. Additional services such as X-ray, 2D Echo, Spirometry, and DLCO are also provided without charge.
With these facilities now available locally, patients will no longer need to travel to cities like Ahmedabad for treatment.
