Udaipur: Under the Chief Minister's budget announcement aimed at providing relief to the common people from inflation by making domestic gas cylinders available to BPL families at Rs 500, the Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme beneficiary celebration event was inaugurated.
Under the guidance of District Collector Arvind Poswal, a district-level beneficiary celebration event was organized at the Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium of the Municipal Corporation. The event featured a live broadcast of the state-level program held in Jodhpur. Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot transferred the subsidy amount to the accounts of beneficiaries from various districts during the event. In this endeavor, a total of Rs 2,83,21,103 was disbursed into the accounts of 69,484 beneficiaries in Udaipur district alone.
During the ceremony, Chief Minister Shri Gehlot also had a direct interaction with beneficiary women from different districts of the state. The district-level program saw the presence of prominent figures such as District Panchayat Executive Officer Saloni Khemka, Former MLA Trilok Purbia, Social Worker Kachru Lal Choudhary, Girwa Sarpanch Sajjandevee Katara, Ajay Porwal, District Revenue Officer Neelam Lakhara, Procurement Officer Manish Bhatnagar, and many other beneficiaries.
