Udaipur The Kishanpol Navyuvak Mandal, Udaipur, will celebrate the 36th Shri Ganesh Festival and Cultural Ceremony starting from August 27, 2025, on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Mandal President Narayan Lal Salvi announced that elaborate preparations are underway at the Shri Siddhi Vinayak Temple, Kishanpol Salvi Colony, Khanjipir, where a 54-feet high grand pandal is being built. The highlight of the celebration will be the installation of a 7.25-feet tall Ganesh idol, beautifully decorated for the occasion.
The festivities will commence at 9:00 AM on Ganesh Chaturthi with a vibrant Shobha Yatra (grand procession) starting from Celebration Mall, Bhuwana. The procession will pass through Fatehpura, Sukhadia Circle, Court Chauraha, Delhi Gate, and Surajpol before reaching Kishanpol Salvi Colony. It will include 30 two-wheelers, 10 cars, traditional drums and nagadas, accompanied by nearly 100 members of the mandal.
Speaking about the preparations, President Narayan Lal Salvi said,
“For the past 36 years, Kishanpol Navyuvak Mandal has been organizing Ganesh Mahotsav with devotion and community participation. This year’s celebration will be grander than ever before, and we invite all citizens of Udaipur to join us in seeking Lord Ganesha’s blessings.”
The idol will be installed in the 54-feet high pandal at 7:15 PM with full Vedic rituals and ceremonies. The evening will also mark the beginning of various cultural and devotional programs planned throughout the festival.
The organizing committee has appealed to devotees, residents, and visitors to participate in large numbers and make the festival a grand success.
