Udaipur, As part of the 71st Wildlife Week, Green People Society organized an engaging lecture and PowerPoint presentation for students at Rockwood High School. The event aimed to educate students about wildlife conservation, the role of animals in maintaining ecological balance, and their importance in human life.
The program began with the school principal, Mrs. Anjula Sharma, welcoming the society members. Pratap Singh Chundawat then highlighted the background and key objectives of Wildlife Week. Dr. Satish Sharma explained the role of wildlife in the human life cycle and evolution, using an interesting scientific presentation.
Rahul Bhatnagar, President of the society, raised awareness among students about various aspects of wildlife conservation, emphasizing that even small individual efforts can significantly contribute to biodiversity preservation. Member Suhel Majboor engaged with students, addressing their questions, while Yaseen Pathan highlighted the importance of environmental conservation through tree plantation within the school premises.
Under the Wildlife Week initiative, Green People Society will continue its lecture series on 6 and 7 October at Seedling Public School and Maharana Mewar Public School, focusing on the same vital themes of wildlife protection and environmental awareness.
