Famous Baba Ramdevra Fair 2025 to Begin from August 25

Jaisalmer,The renowned Baba Ramdevra Fair of western Rajasthan will commence on August 25, 2025, coinciding with Bhadwa Shukla Paksha Dvitiya. To ensure smooth conduct of the fair, Divisional Commissioner of Jodhpur, Dr. Pratibha Singh, chaired a comprehensive review meeting on Friday with district officials and members of the Baba Ramdev Temple Committee.

Dr. Singh emphasized that all departmental officers must take full responsibility and work in coordination to ensure that lakhs of visiting devotees do not face any inconvenience. She urged everyone to work with the spirit that devotees leave Ramdevra with unforgettable memories and divine satisfaction.

Key Directives & Arrangements:

ЁЯФ╣ Sanitation & Safety: The Gram Panchayat and Temple Committee were instructed to maintain excellent cleanliness and implement strict safety and lighting arrangements at Ramsarovar Lake. Special tents and protection measures must be provided for women.

ЁЯФ╣ Electricity: Officials of the electricity department were directed to repair loose wires and ensure uninterrupted power supply during the fair.

ЁЯФ╣ Water Supply: The Public Health Engineering Department was asked to ensure ample supply of clean drinking water with tap-fitted tankers and installation of public taps along main routes.

ЁЯФ╣ Healthcare: Medical officials were directed to deploy adequate staff for duty, organize free health check-ups and medicine distribution, set up multiple health posts, and ensure availability of ambulances.

ЁЯФ╣ Transport & Traffic: The Transport Department was instructed to monitor illegal and overloaded vehicles, while the Roadways was asked to arrange extra buses and ensure smooth shuttle services between Pokaran and Ramdevra.

ЁЯФ╣ Road Repairs & Infrastructure: The PWD was told to urgently repair damaged roads. The National Highway Authority was directed to ensure safety reflectors and radium signage to prevent accidents.

District Collector Pratap Singh presented detailed updates on preparations so far. The meeting was attended by SP Abhishek Shivhare, ADM Parsharam Saini, Zila Parishad CEO Rashmi Rani, Ramdevra Sarpanch Samandar Singh Tanwar, temple committee members, trade association representatives, and other officials.
