National-Level Workshop Organized by Geetanjali Hospital’s Obs & Gynae Department – A First in Mewar

Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology successfully organized Mewar's first national-level workshop, marking a significant milestone in regional medical education. The workshop focused on crucial themes including Endoscopy, PICSEP (Protocol-based Clinical Skills Enhancement Program), and PPH (Postpartum Hemorrhage). It witnessed enthusiastic participation from renowned doctors, medical educators, and students from across the country.

The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Dr. Komal Chavan, Vice President (West Zone), FOGSI; Dr. Sangeeta Gupta, Dean, Geetanjali Medical College; Dr. Pradeep Bandwal, Secretary, UOGS; Dr. Leela Vyas, Head of Department, GIMSR Jaipur; Dr. Madhubala Chauhan, Chairperson of the Workshop; Dr. Anjana Verma, Co-chairperson; and Dr. Nalini Sharma, Chairperson of the Scientific Committee. Key contributions were also made by Dr. Archana Sharma, Dr. Anupama Hada, and Dr. Shabdika Kulshreshtha.

Divisional Commissioner Ms. Pragya Kevalramani attended as the chief guest and appreciated Geetanjali Hospital's consistent efforts in delivering quality healthcare and medical training. She emphasized the importance of regularly organizing such academic workshops to further strengthen medical expertise.

The objective of the workshop was to share insights on latest technologies being implemented in obstetrics and gynecology, and to provide hands-on clinical experience to resident doctors. Special focus was placed on emerging innovations in endoscopy and laparoscopy, and on protocols to reduce maternal mortality, including effective emergency response systems.

The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Anjana Verma. This national workshop hosted by Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital proved to be a successful and inspiring initiative aimed at enhancing medical education, research, and clinical proficiency.
