Udaipur: Once again proving its mettle, St. Anthony’s Sr. Sec. School, Udaipur, delivered an outstanding performance in the CBSE West Zone Chess Tournament, with three teams qualifying for the Nationals.
Principal Mr. William D’Souza proudly shared that the school has been consistently excelling in chess for over 20 years, not just making Udaipur proud but also gaining state and national recognition.
The competition featured teams across eight categories in boys and girls divisions – Under-11, 14, 17, and 19.
Among 37 participating teams in the girls’ section, St. Anthony’s girls gave a stellar performance:

Team Members: Veera, Kanishka, Manya, Monishka
Veera (Board 1), Manya (Board 3), Monishka (Board 4) received Board Prizes for individual brilliance.
Under-19 Girls Team – Runner-Up & National Qualifiers
Team Members: Kinjal, Chahana, Charvi, Tanishka
Under-17 Girls Team – 3rd Position
Under-14 Girls Team – 4th Position
Out of nearly 100 competing teams, St. Anthony’s boys also showcased exceptional skill:

Hardik Gupta (Board 1) was awarded a Board Prize for his outstanding performance.
