###ISRO Exhibition Engages Over 8000 Students

Udaipur. A two-day space exhibition organized by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) at the Aravali Institute of Technical Studies (AITS) witnessed an overwhelming response, drawing participation from over 8,000 students representing more than 100 schools across Udaipur city and division. Along with students, teachers and local citizens also visited the exhibition, immersing themselves in the world of space science and India’s growing advancements in research and innovation.

The objective of the exhibition was to foster curiosity and understanding among students regarding space science, research, and technological innovations. Senior scientists from ISRO conducted special technical lectures where they shared in-depth knowledge about satellite launch systems, robotic missions, research processes, and upcoming space explorations. Students actively interacted with the scientists, asking questions about the Gaganyaan Mission, Mars Orbiter Mission, space rovers, PSLV, and GSLV systems. The scientists patiently explained complex concepts in simple language, igniting young minds with inspiration.

N.L. Khetan, Secretary, and Amit Agarwal, Finance Secretary of Aravali Group of Colleges, informed that this exhibition provided a unique opportunity for thousands of students to connect with the world of science and research.

The major highlights of the event included models of Chandrayaan and Mars Missions, along with the live demonstration of a water rocket, which entertained and educated students from different schools.

On the concluding day, Dr. Hemant Dhamai, Director of AITS, described the exhibition as a historic moment for the institution. He said that organizing such programs in collaboration with prestigious institutions like ISRO would serve as a milestone in shaping students’ careers. Dr. Dhamai expressed gratitude towards the committee members, technical staff, and dedicated student volunteers for their contributions. Certificates and prizes were awarded to the participants in recognition of their efforts.

Dr. Dhamai further emphasized that participation in such events not only broadens the knowledge base of students but also nurtures scientific outlook and innovation.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Gaurav Purohit, Dean of Student Welfare at AITS, who expressed appreciation to ISRO scientists, faculty members, and students for their wholehearted cooperation.
