Matruvandana and Talent Awards at Shridevi Polytechnic

Hanumangarh Junction, A grand “Matruvandana and Talent Award Ceremony” will be held on Sunday at the campus of the prestigious Shridevi Women’s Polytechnic. The event is dedicated to the 40th death anniversary of the founder director’s mother, late Smt. Shridevi Chhajed. Local MLA Shri Ganesh Raj Bansal will grace the occasion as the chief guest.

Director of the institute, Shri R.K. Jain, stated that this esteemed tradition of “Matruvandana” has been continuously observed for the past 40 years in memory of his revered mother. He added that previous ceremonies held in Jaipur were graced by several senior politicians and high-ranking officials of the state. Continuing this tradition in Hanumangarh, the event aims to promote women empowerment and technical education.

Celebrating Excellence: Seven alumnae to be honored

Seven former students of the institute, who have achieved remarkable success in their respective fields and earned recognition in society, will be honored during the ceremony.

The awardees include:

Babita: Diploma in Computer Science and currently working as Information Assistant in the Rajasthan Government.

Sandhya: Diploma in Architecture and showcasing her creativity at the renowned “Mati Design” in Hanumangarh.

Sonia Verma: Electronics Engineering graduate, currently working as Sales Manager at Jaipur-based “Uttam Bharat Transformer.”

Manisha Bishnoi: Diploma in Fashion Design and running a successful venture, “Pashmina Boutique” in Goluwala.

Jasandeep Kaur: First rank in Computer Science in the recent Technical Education Board exam; pursuing an engineering degree.

Harman Kaur: First rank in Costume Design in the Technical Education Board exam; currently employed at Shridevi Institute.

Anuja: First rank in Architecture in the Technical Education Board exam; working under architect Manisha Sethi and enrolled in B.Tech.

The chief guest will present certificates, mementos, and gifts to these talented alumnae to inspire current students.

Shri Anand Jain, Academic Director of the institute, stated that the event is not only an award ceremony but also a way to express gratitude toward “Mother Power.” Current students will perform captivating and inspiring cultural programs based on Matruvandana, which will be the highlight of the event.

The ceremony is a unique confluence of honoring women, encouraging talent, and celebrating the inspiring memory of a mother.
