Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani Inaugurates Grand “Parahan Exhibition”

Udaipur,  The much-awaited “Parahan Exhibition”, a vibrant three-day celebration dedicated to women empowerment, was inaugurated today by Divisional Commissioner of Udaipur, Mrs. Pragya Kevalramani, at Ashoka Green, Shobhagpura, hosted by She Circle India.

The event drew a large number of prominent personalities and dignitaries from across the city. During the inaugural ceremony, Mrs. Kevalramani visited the stalls set up by women entrepreneurs and praised their self-reliant efforts and creative spirit.

Notable guests included Krishna Kaushik from RK Property, Kalpesh Rajbhar from Geetanjali Hospital, and Rukhsana Sabunwala from D+ Shandaar, among other respected figures from Udaipur.

Tarika Bhanupratap, founder of She Circle India, shared that the event will feature three different themes across three days:

August 2: Rotary Ashoka will honor local women’s groups, followed by a fashion show by Creation Group, and presentations by D+ Shandaar, HTM Steel, and Swarn Silver, culminating in a traditional Sawan Utsav.

August 3: Laurette Foundation will host a children’s drawing competition, and One To All Group will organize the Leading Lady Awards.

A total of 51 stalls showcase a diverse mix of culture, skill, and entrepreneurship. Participants have joined from Udaipur, Surat, Ahmedabad, Kota, Jaipur, Nathdwara, and Bhilwara, making it a truly regional showcase of talent. Local homemaker-entrepreneurs also got the opportunity to display and sell their products.

Tarika Bhanupratap emphasized, “The aim of Parahan is not just to provide a platform for women, but to strengthen their journey toward financial independence and self-reliance.”

Daily shoppers are being treated with exciting gifts and surprises, adding to the festive vibe of the exhibition.
