One-Day Medical Camp Organized by Indian Red Cross Society

*Udaipur:* In a collaborative effort, the Indian Red Cross Society, Maharana Pratap Agriculture University (MPUAT), and Dairy and Food Technology organized a one-day medical camp. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of lamps by the Chairman, Gajendra Bhansali, along with the Chief Guest, Dr. Manoj Mahla, Student Welfare and Administrator, Dr. Lokesh Gupta, and Dr. Rajshree Gandhi.

Welcoming and introducing the guests was done by Dr. Nikita Vadhwani. Dr. Ajit Kumar Karnatak, Vice-Chancellor of Maharana Pratap Agriculture University, shared that the collaboration between the Agriculture University and the Indian Red Cross Society is a formal understanding.

Dr. Rajshree Gandhi, National President of the Consumer Rights Organization, emphasized the need to focus on comprehensive development for building a healthy, capable, and cultured India. She highlighted the importance of equal attention to education, health, and self-reliance, envisioning a stronger and prosperous nation.

The objective of the camp was to educate students on health services and awareness, aiming to inspire them towards understanding the importance of a healthy lifestyle and maintaining their health.

Various services were provided by the camp, including free eye check-ups, in which 122 beneficiaries participated. BP and sugar check-ups conducted by Dr. Vinod Bokadiya benefited 127 individuals. Vibrant Physiotherapy by Dr. Sani Rai and Dr. Vinita Bagela had 110 beneficiaries, while Kayapalat Wellness had 53 beneficiaries. Dental check-up by Dr. Mitrata Malot had 130 participants, Acupressure Therapy by Dr. Alpana Bohra had 47 beneficiaries, and Skin and Hair Specialist Dr. Swaleha Khatoon had 87 beneficiaries.

General Physician consultations by Dr. SS Mehta and Dr. RC Mehta saw 110 beneficiaries, Women's Health Consultation by Dr. Kamala Kamrani had 57 beneficiaries, and in total, 843 individuals benefited from the camp.

The camp aimed to promote holistic well-being and spread awareness about health and self-care among the students and the community.
