Udaipur, On the solemn occasion of the death anniversary of Udaipur’s brave son, Lieutenant Archit Vardiya, who attained martyrdom while saving fellow soldiers under the harsh conditions of Siachen, a heartfelt tribute was paid to his ultimate sacrifice today.
Pankaj Kumar Sharma, District Coordinator of the Mahatma Gandhi Jeevan Darshan Samiti, visited the martyr’s residence at Devendra Dham and offered floral tributes and a tricolour scarf at his portrait.
On this occasion, the martyr’s mother Mrs. Beena Vardiya and sister Divyani Vardiya were honoured with a tricolour scarf, a tri-coloured thread garland, a shawl, and a symbolic memento.
While addressing the gathering, Sharma said:
"Lieutenant Archit Vardiya's courage and dedication continue to inspire pride in the hearts of every Indian. His supreme sacrifice remains a beacon of patriotism and commitment for generations to come."
Distinguished guests including Kapil Vasita and Rakesh Mehta were present at the event, where all attendees paid floral tributes and remembered the heroism of the martyr with deep reverence.
