Udaipur, The foundation stone for the new Burelal Baya Red Cross Building (City Center, Udaipur) was ceremoniously laid at Plot 91-B, Bhupalpura, Udaipur. The event was organized under the guidance of District Collector Namit Mehta and President of the Indian Red Cross Society, Udaipur District Branch, in the presence of the branch’s lifelong members. The ceremony was graced by MLA Tarachand Jain, who performed the formal foundation rituals.
Felicitations to Dignitaries and Special Guests
The MLA was welcomed with traditional pagdi, uprana, and garlands by Chairman Dr. Gajendra Bhansali, Building Committee Coordinator E.B.L. Khamesra, and Honorary Secretary Sunil Gang. Special guests, including Rajendra Baya (son of freedom fighter Burelal Baya) and his grandson from Mumbai, were also honored in a similar manner. Medical dignitaries such as Dr. Shankar H. Branch Chairman Dr. Gajendra Bhansali highlighted the long-standing need for a dedicated site at City Center to expand the Society’s service activities. He emphasized that with the support of philanthropists, construction would begin soon. MLA Tarachand Jain praised the Society’s initiatives and announced efforts to provide maximum financial support from the MLA fund.
