To mark the birth anniversary of Late Ramdas Agrawal, founder of the International Vaishya Mahasammelan, a blood donation camp was organized today at Vasupujya Maharaj Mandir Trust, Mewar Motors Gali, under the nationwide campaign being conducted from July 1 to 10. The camp was hosted by the Udaipur unit of the District Vaishya Mahasammelan in collaboration with Lions Club Elite, AU Small Finance Bank, and Shri Saksham Society, collecting a total of 306 units of blood.
President Anil Nahar of the Udaipur unit shared that enthusiastic participation was seen from men, youth, and especially women, with 51 women among the donors. Noteworthy contributions were made by Dinesh Chordia (88th donation), Deepak Khandelwal (79th), and Vijay Sethia (54th)—each serving as an inspiration for others.
Support was extended by MB Hospital Blood Bank and Saral Blood Bank.
Nahar further stated that the aim is to get this nationwide 10-day blood donation campaign recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records.
