#### Rana Sanga Struggle Committee Accelerates Signature Campaign, Over 5,000 Collected

Udaipur. The campaign initiated by the Rana Sanga Struggle Committee to declare the newly developed jetty-side park at Nehru Garden as “Rana Sanga Shaurya Park” and to install a 15-feet tall statue of Rana Sanga received fresh momentum today.

Campaign Gains Public Support

Campaign convenor Dr. Pradeep Kumawat informed that nearly 150 social activists and representatives of various organizations gathered at the temple premises, where the signature drive was formally launched. On this occasion, Mahant Rasbihari Ji performed the first signature, giving direction to the public movement.

Members of Alok Interact Club, around 30 in number, reached different markets, colonies, and neighborhoods of the city to gather public support and signatures. More than 5,000 signatures have already been collected in favor of the campaign.

Lawmakers Extend Full Support

On the occasion, Rural MLA Phoolsingh Meena and Urban MLA Tarachand Jain expressed complete support for the campaign. They assured that they would hold discussions with concerned officials to expedite the process of renaming the park and installing the statue.

Committee’s Key Demands

Office-bearers of the committee, including Kamledra Singh Panwar, Nishchay Kumawat, Kishan Wadhwani, Sanjeev Bhardwaj, Anil Paliwal, Shiv Singh, and Bhupendra Singh, demanded that the administration make the formal announcement of the park’s new name during the upcoming Navratri festival and take immediate steps for the installation of Rana Sanga’s statue to fulfill the sentiments of the people.

They further suggested that a permanent exhibition on the valor of Rana Sanga and the heroic legacy of Mewar be set up in the park’s waiting room to inspire visitors and citizens alike.

Ceremonial Beginning and Conclusion

At the beginning of the program, the welcome address was delivered by Nishchay Kumawat, while the vote of thanks was extended by co-convenor Kamledra Singh Panwar.
